Queen Catherine of Aragon...an update

Some of you may (or may not) remember that I posted this a couple of months back about Queen Catherine of Aragon (the first and very best of all of Henry VIII's wives) and a new website that was trying to promote her cause for sainthood. Well I received an email earlier today from Gregory Nassif St. John (the chap spear-heading all this) saying that he had been in contact with the Vice Postulator General for the Cause of the Martyrs of England and Wales (whatever one of those is...) who has said that although she doesn't fall into the category of a martyr she can, however, be put forth under the cause of "holy virtue." He added that it will still take years for things to move much further forward (but moving forward they are) and asked that anyone who believed Catherine of Aragon should be made a saint pray one rosary. All this is quite exciting really!
